A Cool Place to Take A Nap

My Papa and Mama will always close all the room doors when they're are not around and leave me in the hot, stuffy living room. I think it's because they still don't trust me since the bean bag incident (it felt the same as the sand in my litterbox!!)

Well, today my papa is not around at home, and my mama as usual fell asleep on the sofa watching TV, and fell asleep with all her snacks still on her.

Sigh, so boring....and it's really HOT today......So I decided to take an afternoon nap. ...Meow.. terrible kiamsiap mama, how can you not switch on the aircond when the weather is above 32degC...

So I decided to explore for the coolest place in the house for my afternoon nap..hehe.. my mummy left the room door open....ok...let me go in.. stilll hot... eh.. what's behind the door ? oh... this is the place where mama and papa force me to take my bath... but there is this little bath tub that I've not used before...I usually use the BIG one (cos of my size, I suppose)

Wow.. it is really cool inside here...and dry!!.and i had found my sleeping place.

Zzzzz ZZzzzz Zzzzzzz

"boo..boo.. boo..boo..." Sigh.. somebody is calling my name... must be my mummy..looking for me..so annoying.. let's continue to sleep....

zzZZz.zzZZZz...

Distract 'Em

My daddy is not the neatest person. Ask my mum - she's the same, LOL (Mum: but daddy's worse).
So when mum nags him often enough or (more likely to happen these days), he thinks it's time - he likes to organise what we call cleaning "campaigns" and he proceeds to clean up the place, taking a few hours to do so at times.

This is when I'm happiest also cos I getto traipse around the house with daddy (he usually opens the doors to the rooms which are normally closed off - the storeroom and guestroom) - and I get new places (well, sorta) to play in. You see, I love nothing better than poking my nose in places where I have no business doing so.

I also love it when daddy rearranges the cables of his many gadgets. I like nothing more than batting/swatting these cables, push them around and pretend I'm fighting snakes.

I think the only thing that drives daddy madder is when I scratch the furniture. Teehee.

But I have a few ways to get daddy off my back. Namely: cuteness overload. Of course mum and dad think I'm cute like 99% of the time, but this time I really put on a show to make them forget that I've been naughty at all.

Helllooooooooooow

Helloooooooooooooow.

An introduction is in order. My name is sigh, BooBoo, and I'm the apple of my parents' eyes.

First of all let me say this:- you'd think that with the amount of fuss and love they so-call shower on me that they could have come up with a better name. I'm not sure if I'll ever completely forgive them for giving me this ridiculous uninspired name, but it has stuck and so BooBoo it is.

You should see how the other cats (Oreo and Mafia - yes, my parents named my predecessors too - why did they get such cool names???) make fun of me, but that it the subject of another story.

OK on with the introduction. Yes, despite the name, I am the darling of my parents' rather lonely lives in this little oil and gas town.

They kinda migrated from the Western Peninsula to this eastern state, where they decided to rent a house together in this little housing area near their office. And this is where I found them and adopted them.

I was adopted in 2007, and before that I survived on a diet of humn kindness (leftovers) and rats/birds I could catch pretty niftily.

Nowadays my mama knows that I favour Friskies over Whiskas food, go bonkers over steamed fish and have a special fondness for condensed milk (eventhough I can't taste the sugar).

OK enough for now.
